The Cao Đài Temple, built in 1926, is considered one of the striking structures in South-East Asia. In the morning, visitors will have a chance to explore this fascinating site and witness followers pray at noon time.

After lunch, visit the Củ Chi Tunnels to explore the underground network of tunnels and bunkers that stretch for over 200 Km. Learn about the importance the tunnels played in the Vietnam-American war, and how they were used specifically by the Viet Cong guerrilla fighters. While there, you will not only have a chance to explore the war bunkers, command centers, weapon stores, Hoàng Cầm stove but also experience with real fire with many different types of guns…

7:30 AM gathering at Viet Dream Travel office – 112 Bui Vien, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city. Free pick up for hotel’s location on main street in District 1.

In the morning, depart from Ho Chi Minh City to Cao Đài Temple in Tay Ninh province – around 95 Km South East of HCMC, close to Cambodia border way. The Cao Đài Temple is considered one of the striking structures of South-East Asia. It is the headquarters of the unique Cao Đài sect, a religion with a hybrid of Buddhism, Christianity & Confucianism.

Cao Dai Temple

Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Đài sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side. Visitors will attend the midday ceremony’s extravaganza to witness the daily mass held by the Cao Đài followers, which is a fantastic experience.

After having lunch at a local restaurant, depart to Củ Chi Tunnel – one of the most popular tourist spot in South of Vietnam. The network consists of approximately 250km of tunnels connected with one another like a spider’s web.

Review of Cu Chi Tunnels

During the war, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, numerous trap doors, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens. There is a chance to crawl through multiple-layered tunnels or fire real AK bullets

Cu Chi Tunnels
Afterward, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla-warriors’ food in wartime). End of services. Return Sai Gon and finish your Cao Đài Temple Củ Chi Tunnels tour.
