Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office.

Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum – a place to preserve the nation’s heroic achievements and the past of war. The remaining artifacts and images serve as strong evidence denouncing the crimes of the colonial invaders, and at the same time reflect our people’s will to fight and win to regain national independence. This place is like a quiet historical moment in the middle of bustling Saigon..

At noon, you go to the restaurant to have lunch and rest. Then the group continued to depart to visit Cu Chi tunnelsUpon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time.

Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with including works: tunnels, trenches, embankments, fighting nests, food bunkers, sleeping, meeting, kitchen, well, storage…Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war.

The works are connected to each other or can end independently depending on the terrain, visitors will not be surprised when directly visiting this great project and fought in the tunnels and watched valuable documentary footage about the war, about how the Vietnamese army and people defeated modern weapons with only the will of the nation.
