Linh Quy Phap An Pagoda is located on Linh Quy Mountain, a turtle-shaped mountain. It’s a sacred place frequented by Buddhist pilgrims and visitors. Its unique architecture and ethereal beauty have made it increasingly well known, and it has been voted one of Lam Dong’s top must-see attractions.

The pagoda in the clouds

Linh Quy Pháp Ấn Pagoda sits on a high hill in Bao Lam 3 Commune (about 20km from the center of Bao Loc). From here, you can enjoy panoramic views and appreciate the peaceful greenery of the surrounding coffee plantations, ancient tea bushes, and fruit trees.

The sunrises and sunsets here are particularly magical, attracting many visitors, especially young people and photography enthusiasts. Dawn – as the fluffy white clouds recede and the mist dissipates, the sun rises, casting a rosy glow, revealing the hills and mountains in a dreamy beauty that captivates many. In the late afternoon, gentle golden sunlight filters through the leaves and ancient corners, transforming the entire space into a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere.

The pagoda is most beautiful on days when fluffy white clouds surround it, obscuring the hills and mountains. Leaving your shoes on the ground and strolling barefoot on the cool courtyard of Quan Chieu Hall – where the monks perform their morning rituals – visitors are mesmerized, feeling as if they have wandered into a celestial paradise. Because of this, many affectionately call it “The Pagoda in the Clouds” or “the Gate to Heaven.”

To reach the “Gate to Heaven,” visitors must climb numerous stone steps through a bamboo forest. Ignoring the exhaustion from breathless exhaustion, no one can help but marvel at the beautiful path beneath the bamboo canopy. The arrangement of nature and the skillful hands of man have created masterpieces; even the walkway itself is incredibly dreamy and poetic.

The Heavenly Gate is undoubtedly the most special and popular area for tourists at the pagoda. This gate is modeled on the Japanese Torii gate, with its striking red color. With three gates positioned in three different directions, the grounds become more balanced and visually appealing.

The pagoda’s interior architecture is exquisitely arranged. All structures, including the Main Hall, Meditation Hall, and Lecture Hall, are nestled among the gardens. It seems the architecture here is subdued, humble, and quietly yielding to nature. Each corner of the pagoda features sayings imbued with Buddhist philosophy, inscribed on bamboo stalks and rocks and along the paths, reminding passersby.
