Come see a traditional Vietnamese folklore puppet show, enjoy the accompanying orchestral music, and experience Saigon by night from the river on a dinner cruise. This is the perfect evening activity!

The tour begins at 18:00 PM with a cyclo trip from our office or your hotel in Ben Thanh Ward to the water puppet theatre. Water puppetry is an ancient puppet tradition and an important part of Vietnamese culture. In water-puppetry, puppets are manipulated on the surface of a pool of water, while a Vietnamese orchestra of professional musicians, accompanied by a range of talented singers, provides background music for the performance. Enjoy watching the puppet show and learning more about Vietnamese rural life and folklore. Many of the programs, especially those involving the tales of day-to-day living, often have a humorous twist.

After the show, we’ll take you to the Saigon River to board a junk for a cruise. Take the time here to admire the lights of Saigon city from the river. Dinner will be served on the cruise, which you can enjoy while listening to our selection of relaxing music.

The Water Puppet Show-Cyclo & Dinner On Cruise ends around 21.30 pm, when we’ll return you to your hotel.

  • Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your Cancellation Request via email and the travel service start date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the experience’s start date.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the experience start date will receive no refund.
  • In most cases, reservations paid by wire transfer, cash deposit, or money order/traveler’s check/cashier’s check will be refunded via PayPal. FOR REFUNDS PROCESSED BY PAYPAL WITH ANY ASSOCIATED FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE OVERALL REFUND AMOUNT.
