This morning, at 7 AM, your personal guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. We will then venture out for our exciting exploration. We will drive to Tay Ninh (approx. 2 hours), and you will arrive at Black Virgin Mountain, a mountain with an altitude of 986m, known as the “Roof of the South”. Not only does it have pristine natural scenery, but this mountain is also a famous pilgrimage tourist destination with its long-standing spiritual architectural complex.

Here, you will arrive at Lady Pagoda, more than 300 years old, with majestic architecture, nestled in the middle of a quiet, green mountain space. We then start our discovery with a walking tour around the complex to see beautiful pagodas and a magnificent Buddha statue at Black Virgin Mountain. There are also many mysterious caves, such as Thanh Long cave, Ong Ho cave, Ba Co cave, Ba Tuan cave, Thien Thai cave, Ong Ta cave… Feel the serenity of mountain nature.

Around noon, you take the cable car down the mountain, get back on the car to say goodbye to Black Virgin Mountain, and move to explore Cao Dai Holy See. The religion preached here is a hybrid of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Christianity. Discover the unique religion and learn about its beliefs, culture, and organization.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. 

In the early afternoon, we will return to the station and get back on our vehicle. On our way back to Ho Chi Minh City, we continued the tour to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which are 70 km from the city centre. These are an immense network of interconnected underground tunnels that were sites of military campaigns during American wars. This area is now a “should-not-be-missed” site for all visitors traveling to Vietnam.

We will watch a short introduction video showing the foundation, activities, and people who lived here in the past, then we will crawl through the safe parts of the tunnel system. Meanwhile, you can enjoy some special cassava and tea that is served free on the tour.

Later, we can go to the shooting range, where we can try to fire real bullets, or go shopping at the souvenir shops. After the tour, you will be escorted safely back to your hotel for overnight accommodation. Service ends at your hotel’s lobby in Ho Chi Minh City, finish Vietnam private tour.

Refund Policy

  • The tour requires a minimum number of travelers to operate. The affected traveler will be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Should this occur, it would be under very rare circumstances.

  • 100% refund for cancellations made at least 48 hours before the start date of the experience.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
