Nestled amidst vast forests, Lieng Nung Waterfall attracts visitors with its mysterious and wild beauty.
Overview of Lieng Nung Waterfall
Lieng Nung Waterfall, also known as Dieu Thanh Waterfall, is a waterfall on the Dak Nia stream in N’Jriêng village, Dong Gia Nghia ward, Lam Dong province, about 8km from the center of Gia Nghia Ward.
Legend says that Lieng Nung is the only waterfall on the Dak Nia stream, which originates in sacred forests; the water is crystal-clear and abundant, cascading year-round. In the local dialect, Lieng means waterfall, and Nung means resting place. In ancient times, during droughts, countless trees and livestock died, but only the animals and plants in the Dak Nia stream survived. People flocked here to drink the water. Later, this place became a symbol that the people of old Dak Nong (now Lam Dong Province) highly valued and preserved, and it remains a popular tourist destination to this day.

The dry season lasts from November to April of the following year, making it the ideal time to visit. Visiting the waterfall during the dry season, you will have the opportunity to admire a rare and dreamy landscape. At this time, the beauty of Lieng Nung Waterfall is a harmonious blend of the waterfall, lake, plants, flowers, and mountains.
