HALONG BAY - LAN HA BAY - DARK & BRIGHT CAVE - VIET HAI VILLAGE

DAY 1: HANOI - HAI PHONG – LAN HA BAY (Lunch/ Dinner)

08:45 – 09:15 Your transfer vehicle will collect you from your hotel in Hanoi and convey you to Hai Phong around 11h45.

12:00 You will be taken on our tender from the wharf and make your way out onto the bay to board our luxurious craft, Sapphire Cruise. You will be welcomed aboard and greeted with a complimentary drink. Our Crew will conduct a compulsory safety procedures session, and then you are free to check into your cabin and freshen up. Take some time to have a look around the vessel or watch the magical landscape go by.

13:15 A special lunch of fresh seafood and an assortment of appetizing favorites will be served. We set sail for Lan Ha Bay, passing to Da Chong islet, where you can see a lighthouse built by the French over 100 years ago.

15:00 When lunch is about to finish, it is just nice that the Cruise completes its entry through Cua Van area to Lan Ha Bay (as part of Halong Bay). The area is surrounded by many extraordinary limestone karst landscapes. Guests can start their journey to explore Lan Ha Bay by Kayaking and swimming in the bay's crystal-clear waters.

17:00 Back on the main boat, cruising to a place to stay overnight.

17:30 Join the sunset party on the sundeck in a warm and romantic atmosphere, making friends with other members in the group, enjoying fresh local fruit, and listening to soft light music.

19:15 Relish a special Dinner in the restaurant.

20:45 - 00:00 Your free time to relax with an exotic cocktail or whatever takes your fancy. Our bar has a wide range of wines, beers, and liquors, and is always a welcome sight for guests after a day on the Bay. Order a Spa service or take part in activities on a boat cruise, such as watching documentary films, squid fishing, or simply relaxing on our rooftop deck under a star-filled sky.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

06:30 Early birds are welcome to attend sunrise Tai Chi on our upper deck, and it's an excellent way to get your energy levels up for today's adventures. You will be fascinated by the exquisiteness in the early hours as you enjoy a coffee or tea.

07:00 Enjoy a buffet breakfast with the best local coffee brand and freshly squeezed fruit juices.

Option 1: Second night on the boat.

08:45 Next, we board our Day Boat to head to Viet Hai Village. You will take a bicycle trip along the village path, passing through rainforests and a dark tunnel. Enjoy the stunning scenery of rice fields on the way. Stop at the village to relax. Visit an ancient local house, made from straw, mud, bamboo…you will have a chance to see the local life in a valley of local people. An optional electric car service is available (at an extra cost).

12:00 Relax for a while and enjoy the special lunch.

13:45 Free time to swim and kayak alongside vertical cliffs, exploring untouched areas. (if the weather permits).

16:30 Back onboard Sapphire Cruise, take some time to freshen up, take a nap, or just relax at your leisure as we cruise to our overnight area. Witness one of the most brilliant sunsets you will ever see.

17:30 - 18:30 Bar opens for Happy Hour.

19:15 A special dinner will be served, offering you outstanding food and quality service.

20:45 – 00:00 This evening is yours to enjoy whatever you please. We also have a selection of board games for your entertainment. Our bar is always open and is an ideal place to meet new people and share stories about your adventures.

Option 2: Second night at Bungalow

7:45 - 9:00 Enjoy the last stage of your trip to Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats, which are wild and mysterious in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.

09:00 Get on our transfer boat to admire the stunning beauty of Lan Ha Bay. Optional trip (biking trip to Viet Hai village) must be booked in advance; extra U.S. $ 5/person.

11:00 Arrive at the bungalow for check-in.

12:00 Enjoy your lunch in the restaurant at the bungalow. Enjoy your private time at leisure, relaxing, sunbathing on the beach or using some services available at the bungalow like playing football, volleyball, play pool, or kayaking to explore untouched areas near the bungalow.

18:30 Enjoy the special dinner at the bungalow.

Day 3: DARK & BRIGHT CAVE – HALONG BAY - HANOI (Light Breakfast/Brunch)

Option 1: Second night on the boat.

06:30 The nicest time of the day on Lan Ha Bay is the morning. Head to the upper deck to participate in our daily Tai Chi sessions. Relax with an early morning cup of tea, coffee, or juice anywhere you wish on the boat and watch the never-ending, miraculous scenery unfold before you.

07:00 Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee).

7:45 - 9:00 Enjoy the last stage of your trip to the Dark & Bright cave and islets by local rowing boats, which are wild and mysterious in the middle of the World Heritage. Back to our main board afterward.

09:30 Check out of your cabin as we draw closer to the mainland.

Option 2: Second night at Bungalow

07:00 Light breakfast will be served in our restaurant (pastries, tea, coffee)

7:45 Check out and get on the transfer boat to bring you back to the Sapphire cruise. Keep cruising for 3 hours more to see the spectacular beauty of the bay.

10:15 Cooking class opened right on the Cruise; you will be guided on how to prepare spring rolls.

10:45 Enjoy your brunch on the boat.

11:45 You will board our tender and head back to the wharf where you will be met by your return trip vehicle to transfer you to Hanoi.

12:10-12:30 Get on the bus and get back to Hanoi

15:00: Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

• Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be canceled due to poor weather. Unused services are not subject to a refund.
• Meals onboard are a fusion of Vietnamese, seafood & international. Guests should advise of any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements at least one (1) day prior to the cruise date.
• Advance registration is required for all passengers, including full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number, and visa expiry date. A valid passport is required upon check-in. Otherwise, boarding may be denied by the port authority.
