Explore K50 Waterfall – A masterpiece among Gia Lai’s thousands
K50 Waterfall is also known to many as Hang Én Waterfall (Swallow Cave Waterfall). Behind the curtain of water lies a large natural cave – once home to thousands of swallows. This is one of the few waterfalls in Vietnam that allows visitors to walk around behind the water to admire the scenery from a completely different perspective. Standing inside the cave, gazing at the cascading white water and the sunlight filtering through the droplets, you’ll feel the majestic beauty that nature has bestowed upon the Gia Lai region.

The journey to K50 Waterfall is also a captivating part of the trip. Visitors will traverse pristine forest paths, cross crystal-clear streams and lush green meadows to gradually approach the waterfall. Furthermore, K50 is located within the evergreen forest habitat of the Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, home to approximately 546 species of vascular plants, along with 62 species of mammals and 169 species of birds. This is an ideal experience for those who love trekking, hiking through forests, camping in nature, swimming in streams, exploring the pristine forest ecosystem, or simply relaxing, breathing in the fresh air, and listening to the sounds of the wilderness.

The ideal time to explore K50 Waterfall is from January to June, when the weather is dry, the trekking routes are easy to navigate, and the forest scenery is lush and green. During the rainy season, the increased water flow makes the waterfall more majestic and powerful; however, the trails are also more slippery, making it suitable for experienced trekkers or those accompanied by a local guide.
