Hoa Lu – Tam Coc is one of the famous destinations in Ninh Binh. It is about 110 km from Hanoi, a cultural and historical destination with natural beauty and scenic landscapes. Visiting Hoa Lu, you will have the opportunity to explore the mausoleum, temples dedicated to the King of Vietnam, and release souls into the natural scenery of the Tam Coc caves. A beautiful picture, combined with Natural beauty and the rural countryside, creates a memorable experience when participating in the Hoa Lu Tam Coc full-day program. Just 110 km and a 2.5-hour drive from Hanoi’s center, you have a chance to enjoy the landscape in one of the most famous tourist provinces in northern Vietnam.
7:30 - 8:15. Our guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then leave by coach to Hoa Lu (2.5 hrs).
Visit the historic capital of Vietnam and the famous ancient temples of Le and the Dinh Dynasties. Then our bus will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc for lunch around at 12:30 PM.
After lunch, you will get on a bamboo boat - rowed by the local people - in Hoang Long River to visit Tam Coc (three caves) on the way. You pass through three enormous caves that provide a brief respite from the intense summer sun. It takes approximately two hours to go up and down the river, and along the way, you witness local fisherfolk, village life along the river, and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations that Tam Coc is famous for.
