Arrived at the port, your guide and driver pick you up and drive to My Tho, the nearest destination of the Mekong River from Phu My port. Your trip starts with an interesting boat ride along the picturesque Tien Giang River. Stop at Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most popular religious sites in the region. Famous for its important role in the spiritual life of locals, the pagoda also features impressive architecture that blends Vietnamese, Chinese, and Khmer styles.

Back to your boat and continue on to a local home with an orchard. Get a glimpse of rural life by admiring the simple architecture and sampling tropical fresh fruits that you can collect directly from the trees surrounding you. Next, visit the coconut candy workshop. Learn how they make a pack of tiny coconut candies and try one to wake up your sweet tooth. Move to a honey farm where bees are building their nest. Watch farmers wearing protective gear to collect honey while these little bees are still flying around.

After that, take a sampan ride through palm-shaded creeks. Soak in the beautiful natural scenery, stop a while to sample fresh fruit, and enjoy the traditional singing performed by local people from the South.

Cancellation policy:

  • Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your Cancellation Request via email and travel service start date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations made at least 4 days before the start date of the experience.
  • Cancellations made within 4 days of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
  • In most cases, reservations paid by wire transfer, cash deposit, or money order/traveler’s check/cashier’s check will be refunded via PayPal. FOR REFUNDS PROCESSED BY PAYPAL WITH ANY ASSOCIATED FEE WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM THE OVERALL REFUND AMOUNT.
