Day 1: HCMC - Sa Dec
Pick up at your hotel at 7:30 AM.
• Dong Thap province is the first destination. Admire a part of the Mekong River (Tien River). Visit local attractions such as the coconut candy workshop or a bee farm, listen to traditional Vietnamese folk melodies, and taste seasonal tropical fruits.
• Sadec City has a fantastic meal at a nearby restaurant in the afternoon.
• The ancient house of Huynh Thuy Le, designated a national historic site in 2009, is well known for its distinctive East-West architectural fusion.
• Sadec Flower Village has a total flower growing area of more than 500 hectares, with 2,000 different species of ornamental flowers, becoming one of the enormous decorative flower baskets in the Mekong Delta and the Southern part of Vietnam.
• Checking in at the accommodation and taking a rest. There are two options for staying overnight:
• Option 1: At Homestay - Taking part in a cooking class and having dinner.
• Option 2: At a standard city hotel - Enjoy a mouth-watering dinner at the local restaurant (excludes cooking class ).
Day 2: Sa Dec – Gieng Island – Bird National Park – HCMC
• Visit Gieng Island by motor rickshaw is a remote place with a low impact from the changing society. Have the chance to see how locals earn a living by working on fish farms, weaving baskets, or making incense sticks.
Highlight in Gieng Island:
• Cu Lao Gieng Church, built in 1877, was considered one of the oldest churches in South Vietnam.
• The Monastery of Phanxico had the architectural style of Romano-Gothic.
• Con Phuoc Church, the homeland of Priest Diep (Francis Xavier Truong Buu Diep), was well-known for accepting the death penalty for his parishioners.
• Phuoc Thanh Pagoda was built in 1872 with a giant 39-meter-high Amitabha Buddha statue.
• Tram Chim National Park, where spend 1.5 hours traveling around the park by boat and admiring the beauty of various kinds of wild flora and birds in their natural habitat.
• Temple complex of Go Thap includes the relics of the Funan Kingdom, the Shrine of Monument, and the Buddhist Pagoda. Therefore, you can have a deeper understanding of people's religious and spiritual beliefs in the Mekong Delta.
• Drop off at your Hotel around 5 PM, finishes 2-Day Tour to Mekong Delta-Gieng Islet-Tram Chim Birds National Park.
