Vietnam Beach Tour – 20 Days

Day 1: arrival at the airport in Ho Chi Minh

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met and transferred to the hotel for check-in. If the time permits, we have a welcome dinner at the floating restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City. Stay overnight in this city.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta – Can Tho (B, L)

Start today by visiting the Cai Be floating market. On arrival in Cai Be, take a motorboat to cruise along the Mekong River, pass through a small floating market, and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on their vessels. Visit a local family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made. Then wander through small villages, visit fruit orchards, and be accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music.

Afterward, the rowboat takes you through a series of small canals to experience the charm of the Upper Mekong Delta, where you can enjoy yourself with nature. Lunchtime is a good chance to get closer to the local and you will learn how to prepare special Vietnamese dishes. Food is cooked by yourself, and fresh river food is served in the heart of the garden.

After lunch, you have a chance to bike on the village path through orchards. Meet the local islanders to learn more about their daily life in the Mekong Delta. Transfer to Can Tho. Overnight at the hotel in Can Tho.

Day 3: Can Tho – Phu Quoc Island (B, D)

Breakfast at the hotel/homestay in the early morning. Take a leisure boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River (Bassac River), then visit Cai Rang floating market, which is the liveliest in the whole Can Tho Province. Your experience will be fulfilled when walking through the fruit plantation and the local noodle factory.

After that, take a flight at midday to Phu Quoc Island. On arrival at Phu Quoc, our driver will transfer you to the hotel to check in and relax.

Phu Quoc Island

Around 17 pm, a tour guide will pick you up to join a sunset cruise. The boat will cruise along, then anchor down so you can enjoy the stunning sunset and fish for squid. Our crew will even cook anything you catch. Enjoy dinner and squid porridge on board under the starry sky. Come back to your hotel around 21 pm and stay overnight on Phu Quoc Island.

Day 4 & 5: Phu Quoc Free & Easy (B)

Today is free. You can enjoy your free time by relaxing and swimming in crystal-clear water. 

Day 6: Snorkeling & Swimming in the Islands of Phu Quoc (B, L)

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before heading out to Mong Tay Island or Gam Ghi Island for snorkeling and swimming. Indulge in a delicious lunch on board and then head to May Rut Island for more snorkeling in crystal clear water. Relax and take in the spectacular hilly scenery on the return journey.

Day 7: Phu Quoc – Ha Noi (B, L)

Breakfast at your hotel, then we take a flight at midday to Ha Noi. Upon arrival at the airport in Ha Noi, a tour guide will meet you and begin the visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Here you can see the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, where the corpse of Uncle Ho is kept, and you should remember to dress suitably to show respect to him. Don’t show your chest, your shoulders, and your legs.

Next, you will visit the Presidential Palace – a nice architectural building built by the French in the garden, and the Ho Chi Minh House on stilts. Visiting the house, you will see the simple life of President Ho Chi Minh, who lives forever in the Vietnamese spirit.

Finish this area with One Pillar Pagoda – one of the most attractive attractions in Hanoi, which is designed in a special architectural style that you should not miss in Hanoi. Come to the hotel to check in and stay overnight in this city.

Day 8 + 9 & 10: Ha Long bay 3 days 2 night (2B, 3L, 2D)

Wake up early to say goodbye to Hanoi, after having breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your hotel to transfer to Halong Bay – a World Natural Heritage recognized by UNESCO twice. Upon arrival, embark on the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink, followed by four briefings.

The highlight of the trip:

• Passing by Halong Bay
• Swimming in Titov Island on 1st day
• Kayaking and Swimming in the area of Trong cave in 2nd day
• Enjoying more time exploring the Ho Dong Tien area
• Visiting Pearl Farm Village
• Cruising among the thousands of limestone islands in Halong Bay and visiting the most beautiful cave in the Bay, SUNG SOT (SURPRISING) CAVES
+ Shooting photos from the sightseeing deck or aboard your kayak as your tour
• Engaging in the cooking demonstration of Vietnamese traditional cuisine or early TAICHI CLASS
• Witnessing spectacular sunsets and delightful dawns over the Bay
• Joining the sunset party and other activities on the cruise
• Overnight on a cruise.

At midday of day 10, the cruise goes ashore and transfers you back to Ha Noi. Overnight in this city

Day 11: Ha Noi – Hoi An (B)

Around midday, a driver will transfer you to the airport, take a flight to Da Nang, then head down to Hoi An ancient town, and overnight here. Enjoy our free time to explore the town.

Day 12: Cham Island (B, L)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before visiting Cham Island for snorkeling and scuba diving, and relax on the beautiful beach. The tour runs from 8 Am to 15 Pm. Then go back to Hoi An and stay overnight.

Day 13: Hoi An Free & easy (B)

Today is free, enjoy your free time on the beach

Day 14: My Son Holy Land (B, L)

After breakfast, a guide picks you up to visit:

• My Son Holy Land – the ruins of the Cham people, which were an imperial city during the Cham dynasty.
• Enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms.
• Visit a local house and learn how to make rice-paper,
• Lunch is served at a local house. Relax with cold herbal tea, nice food, and fresh air.
• Take a boat trip along the Thu Bon River to Hoi An town.

Tour finishes around 15 Pm in Hoi An, transfer to the hotel and overnight here.

Day 15: Hoi An – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Enjoy your free time to relax on the beach until midday, then our driver will transfer you to the airport, take a flight to Ho Chi Minh City, and overnight here.

Day 16: Cu Chi Speed boat 1/2 day tour (B)

Enjoy your break at the hotel before coming to explore the Cu Chi tunnels. This is a unique and incomparable underground village that was used extensively for food and ammunition storage, medical care chambers, command chambers, meeting chambers, bedrooms, cooking by Hoang Cam stoves…

Visiting Cu Chi Tunnel by speed boat seems to be the best way to:

• Observe daily life along the riverbank by speedboat.
• Descend into the famous Cu Chi tunnels to discover the Vietnamese soldiers’ life during the war.
• Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese-style lunch and hotel transfers for your convenience.
• Observe the quaint ‘weekend’ homes of local people as you cruise along the Saigon River.

Come back to Ho Chi Minh around 13 pm, free time to explore the city, and overnight here.

Day 17 & 18: transfer to Mui Ne, Free & Easy (B)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then our driver will transfer you to Mui Ne – a coastal fishing town with a sandy paradise. After 4.5 hours of driving, you will arrive at the town, check into the hotel, and enjoy your free time to relax on the beach.

Day 19: Mui Ne – Sand dunes (B)

Get up early in the morning, around 6 am, after having breakfast, a tour guide will take you to visit a fishing village by jeep, observing the daily lives of fishermen, then visit the sand dunes. Enjoy activities such as riding a quad bike over sand dunes, ostrich riding (at own expense), and sliding down sand dune slopes with sandboarding.

Visiting Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien), where a small stream runs through the middle of the red sand dunes. Come back to the hotel around 11 am for beach time and overnight in this town.

Day 20: Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh (B)

Our driver will pick you up and transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh at a time that suits you. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Your Vietnam beach tour is finished!
