Mekong Delta 3 Days 2 Nights: MY THO – VINH LONG – CHAU DOC – CAN THO

DAY 1 : SAI GON – MY THO – VINH LONG – CHAU DOC (B, L, D)

Morning: The bus and tour guide will pick you up at our office at 184 Le Lai Street, District 1, HCMC, or at hotels near Ben Thanh Market from 6:30 to 7:15 am. Then you will start the trip to the Mekong Delta (My Tho – Ben Tre ).

In My Tho, tourists stop at Mekong Restop. You’ll have breakfast with typical Southern Viet Nam dishes, such as Hu tieu My Tho (My Tho rice noodle soup), Com Tam (broken rice), and more. Then you come to Vinh Trang pagoda, built by Mr. and Mrs. Bui Cong Dat in the 19th century. Vinh Trang Pagoda is an architectural and artistic relic that ranks third in all types of pagodas in the southern part of the country. The pagoda was built in harmony with the architecture of both Europe and Asia.

Next, visitors will go to My Tho Cruise Port, then board a boat to travel along the Tien River and admire the four islets of Dragon, Unicorn, Tortoise, and Phoenix. Boats run along floating fish rafts, allowing visitors to learn how local people raise fish in the river and to see Rach Mieu Bridge.

To Thoi Son islet(Unicorn islet), you walk on the village road, visit local people's houses and fruit gardens, take souvenir photos, and then visit the honey bee farm, enjoy honey tea. Next, you come to the tunes of Don Ca Tai Tu – Southern folk music in Vietnam, and eat fruit for free.

After that, visitors use rowing boats to weave through the small canal to see the two rows of natural coconut trees and the garden's simple landscape. Continue walking on the village’s road to the coconut candy shop, learn how to make candy, and see some handicrafts made from the coconut tree.

Noon: The tour guide takes you to the restaurant to have lunch (set menu lunch) here. After that, you can relax, fish for crocodiles, go to the monkey bridge, have a hammock to rest, or experience cycling on the village road, ...

Around 14h30: Return to My Tho by boat and depart for Chau Doc. Arriving in Chau Doc (2-3 hours' drive), you check into the hotel in the city center.

Around 18h00: You have dinner in a local restaurant. Then, free to explore the nightlife in Chau Doc.

DAY 2 : CHAU DOC – TRA SU MELALEUCA FOREST – CAN THO (B, L, D)

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. After that, the bus and tour guide take the group to Sam Mountain Resort to visit Ba Chua Xu temple (also known as The Lady Chua Xu Temple), Thoai Ngoc Hau Tomb, and Tay An Pagoda. Continue the journey in the direction of Tinh Bien along Vinh Te canal through That Son range - Cam Mountain, Mount Ket, and Khmer pagodas with unique architecture.

Then, go to the Tra Su Melaleuca forest, where you start to visit the beautiful flooded Melaleuca forest ecosystem in the morning, according to the itinerary. You walk 500m from the parking lot to the wharf, then take a motorboat for about 10 minutes running along the canal in the cool melaleuca forest to the first stop.

Noon: The group goes to the restaurant area in the middle of the wild nature, arranged in clusters of small houses on stilts, very romantic and relaxing. Then depart for Long Xuyen for lunch at a restaurant.

Afternoon: The bus takes you to depart for Can Tho, the busiest city in Tay Do in the west of the Mekong Delta. Arrive in Can Tho, you check into the hotel.

Evening (around 18:30): Bus takes you to Ninh Kieu wharf. You have a cozy dinner on a luxury yacht to explore Western cuisine on the Can Tho River and listen to Southern amateur music.

Around 21h00: The boat docked, and the bus will take you back to the hotel to rest. You can freely explore Can Tho city at night, then return to the hotel on your own.

DAY 3: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – TRUC LAM MONASTERY – SAIGON (B, L)

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel, then the bus will take you to Ninh Kieu wharf, where you can take a boat to cruise the Can Tho River. Visit Cai Rang floating market, one of the busiest floating markets in the Mekong Delta, where hundreds of boats and ships trade and exchange goods and local specialties.

Then visit the craft village of making Hu Tieu (rice noodle) in Can Tho. Next, you come to My Khanh tourist village, where you visit the fruit and flower gardens and an ancient house over 100 years old. Then visit and learn about Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, built in the cultural architecture of the Ly-Tran dynasties. Then, you have lunch at My Khanh tourist village and are free to relax.

Afternoon: Depart to visit Coffee - Can Tho Purple House film studio (self-sufficient ticket), which is becoming a very hot tourist destination in Tay Do land with a unique style with only 1 color, purple. The details from the house to the campus are full of purple that "cut the heart" of thousands of visitors. Then, returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Around 17h30: Back to HCM city, the bus drops you off at Ben Thanh market or Pham Ngu Lao street. The tour guide says goodbye and sees you next time. Finish the Mekong Delta 3-day 2-night tour.
