The name “Tien Sa” (Vietnamese: Tiên Sa) is associated with the legend that fairies once came down from heaven to play and swim in the sea. This folk tale adds to the beach’s romance and is also the origin of the name Tien Sa, meaning “the place where fairies descend.”

Tien Sa Beach’s appeal lies in the combination of sand, sea, and the green mountain slopes of Son Tra peninsula. Thanks to its relative isolation from the urban area, the landscape here remains peaceful. Visitors can walk along the beach, take in the scenery, take photos, or relax by the sea.

Tien Sa area is also suitable for short trips combined with exploring Son Tra nature. From the beach, the green mountain slopes rising behind create a quite unique scene that is hard to find on beaches close to the center of Da Nang. On clear days, the blue sea and forest create an airy, pleasant space.
