Our Vietnam History Tour is a chance for veterans who served in the Vietnam War, or anyone who wants to learn about Vietnam’s history and is now willing to come back to revisit old battlefields, historical sites, and ancient ruins… This is also a great chance for you to know more about the Vietnamese people and the unique and authentic culture of Vietnam.

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City arrival
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
After breakfast, start your Ho Chi Minh City tour to visit Notre Dame Cathedral, Independence Palace, and the former US Embassy. Continue to visit the War Museum, Giac Lam Pagoda, a war vestige where a Buddhist monk immolated himself in protest of the war, and the church where Ngo Dinh Diem, President of the puppet government, was assassinated. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 3: Tay Ninh Holy See - Cu Chi Tunnels (B/L)
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then start your day by visiting the Tay Ninh Holy See, where Cao Dai followers hold their noon mass, filling the hall in colored robes, a symbol of the curious combination of Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism.
On the way back, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, an underground network built by Vietnamese troops during the Vietnam War. The tunnels contained hospitals, accommodation, etc., and were used as a military base for the Vietcong during the American War. Drive back to HCMC. Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City – Hoi An Ancient Town (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Tan Son Nhat airport for boarding to Danang airport. The driver picks up and visits Cham Museum, Marble Mountain with a marble-carving village, and the beach where the US Marines first came ashore, marking the beginning of America’s major involvement in Indochina. Overnight in Hoi An town.
Day 5: My Son Holly land (B/L)
After your breakfast, you will visit My Son Holy Land - ancient buildings at the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide. Then, transfer to the harbor and board a boat cruise along the Thu Bon River to the traditional craft villages of Thanh Ha pottery and Kim Bong carpentry, where locals still use traditional tools in their daily activities. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoi An - Hue city tour (B/L)
In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Hue. On the way, we will also stop at the stunning Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach, where you can take some memorable photos, before proceeding to a local restaurant for lunch.
When we arrive in Hue City, we will visit the Dong Ba Market, the Imperial City, and the Purple Forbidden City, from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945. In the evening, you will enjoy a beautiful boat trip, while locals will play their folk music. Dinner is at the guest’s own cost
Day 7: Hue city tour - Ha Noi
After a good night’s rest, breakfast will be served at the hotel. We will take you on a morning boat tour, during which you will visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, followed by the Thien Mu Pagoda and the mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang.
All the sights are set in beautiful gardens with small lakes and greenery. You will enjoy lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant before we proceed towards the airport to depart for Hanoi.
When you arrive at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, your tour guide and driver will pick you up and bring you to your hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi City. In Hanoi, you will be welcomed with a dinner of Hanoi specialties.
Day 8: Ha Noi City tour
Before beginning an interesting day with the history of Vietnam, breakfast is served at the hotel. To begin with, we will bring you to visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, where you can see Uncle Ho’s house on stilts, and then continue to the nearby One Pillar Pagoda, inspired by the lotus flower. Continuing, we will visit the stunning architectural Temple of Literature, where you can see ancient scriptures inscribed on massive stone plates, as you walk through the symmetrical gardens alongside small lakes at what is known as the first university in Vietnam.
Cross the red bridge over the lakes in the heart of Hanoi to the Ngoc Son Temple, and afterward you can relax while being taken around in the Old Quarter of Hanoi by Rickshaw. After a tour in the charming streets of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, we will bring you to your hotel. For the rest of the evening, you are free to enjoy Hanoi further, and dinner is on the guest’s own account.
Day 9: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay
Following breakfast at your hotel, we will depart for Halong Bay. When arriving in Halong City, you will board a junk boat, and while departing for the stunning sights of Halong Bay’s limestone formations, lunch will be served. On the four-hour cruise, we will also visit the Thien Cung Cave, which was opened to the public in 1998.
Visitors can then admire the newly discovered Dau Go grotto, where wooden stakes were set deep inside the cave prior to a battle against an invading Mongol army. Boat ride back to Ha Long city. Road trip back to Hanoi. Dinner on the guest's account. Stay overnight at your hotel of choice in Hanoi.
Day 10: Ha Noi and departure
In the morning, you will enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before getting ready to leave Hanoi. While you wait for your flight, you are free to do as you please, and when you leave, we will take you to Noi Bai International Airport. This will be the end of our services, and we truly hope that you have had a journey of a lifetime.
