Quan Am Phat Dai Pagoda

Quan Am Phat Dai Pagoda (or Nam Hai Buddha) is located in Nha Mat Ward (Bac Lieu City). This sacred pagoda is a place to worship Nam Hai Bodhisattva who always protects fishermen when going to sea.

Inside the main hall are carved and embossed with many sophisticated patterns and reliefs depicting stories about the life of Buddha and Buddhist teachings.

With the elaborate architecture of the Khmer people and built in April 1887. Xiem Can Pagoda has become one of the cultural centers of spirituality and art of the Khmer people. Every month, people here will come to the pagoda about 4 times to worship Buddha, chant sutras and cultivate morality.
