Tran Bien Temple of Literature

Tran Bien Temple of Literature is more than 300 years old and is located on a campus of more than 15 hectares in Tran Bien Ward. The Temple of Literature is the first cultural and educational center of Dong Nai City in particular and of the Mekong Delta region in general.

Bien Hoa Ancient Citadel

Bien Hoa ancient citadel (Cuu Citadel, Ken Citadel, Xang Da Citadel) is located in Tran Bien ward, Dong Nai city. This is one of the largest military citadels in the history of citadel construction in the South, and it still exists today.

The ancient citadel still has traces of laterite walls from early times. The two citadels on the East and West have typical French architecture with domed windows.

Nguyen Huu Canh Temple

Nguyen Huu Canh Temple (Binh Kinh Temple) was established by the people to remember the meritorious deeds of Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu in reclaiming the land of Bien Hoa and the South. The temple is located in Tran Bien Ward.

Hang Gon Ancient Tomb

Hang Gon ancient tomb, also known as Ong Da Tomb or Indochina Tomb. The tomb, located in Hang Gon Ward, Dong Nai City, is a special national archaeological relic, belonging to the rare dolmen burial type in Vietnam and worldwide, dating from 150 BC to 240 AC.

Nhon Trach Tunnels

Nhon Trach Tunnels (Phuoc An Tunnels) are located in Phuoc An commune. Visitors will be able to visit the tunnel system directly for about 200m.

The exhibition area stands out with a model recreating tunnel-digging activities; documents and images of the Rung Sac special forces; the resistance war against the US by Nhon Trach’s army and local citizens; and hundreds of artifacts from revolutionary soldiers.

Ong Pagoda

Ong Pagoda, also known as That Phu Co Mieu or Lord Guan Temple, is located in Tran Bien Ward and was built more than 300 years ago. It is considered one of the most ancient and sacred pagodas in the Mekong Delta.
