Dankia Lake and Suoi Vang, also called Golden Source, are the two lakes: Dankia Lake in the upper part and Suoi Vang Lake in the lower part. These two smaller lakes were created by two dams of the same name, Ankroet, blocking the Da Dang River, which originates from Langbiang Mountain. Next to the lake is a waterfall also named Ankroet, 15 meters high. This waterfall was chosen by the French Governor-General Decoux as the site for Lam Dong’s first hydroelectric power plant in 1942, named the Ankroet Hydroelectric Power Plant, with a capacity of 3 MW.

The lakes cover a total area of 245 hectares and hold a massive volume of over 20 million cubic meters of water. Not only are the lakes an important water source, but they are also ideal destinations for those who love exploring nature and engaging in outdoor activities.
