Da Lat Flower Garden is one of the most popular spots for visitors to Dalat to take photos. It is estimated that the Da Lat flower garden houses up to 200 flower species, sourced from across Vietnam and many countries worldwide. It is like a museum of flowers.

The Dalat City Flower Garden is located at 02 Tran Nhan Thong, Lam Vien-Da Lat Ward. It began construction in 1966. However, the project was abandoned for a period. It wasn’t until 1985 that construction resumed and the garden reopened.

Formerly known as Bich Cau Flower Garden, the site was renamed Dalat City Flower Park in 1986 and now covers nearly 15 hectares, featuring a distinctive, eye-catching design. The entrance to the garden is truly impressive, with arched flower arrangements made from hundreds of colorful flower pots.

With an area of over 7,000 square meters, it boasts a comprehensive collection of rare flowers from Vietnam and around the world. Besides traditional flower varieties that visitors are already familiar with, such as hydrangeas, roses, carnations, forget-me-nots, mimosas, epiphyllums, violets, celery, heather, and arapangs, there are also dozens of new flower varieties introduced to Da Lat, including daisies, azaleas, camellias, pansies, violas, carnations, cattleyas, petunias, tulips, and geraniums.

Every year during Tet (Lunar New Year), this venue hosts the Spring Flower Festival and Flower Festival, bringing together flower growers, bonsai artists, and landscape and rockery enthusiasts to compete and learn from one another.

Opening hours and entrance fees 

  • Adults: 100,000 VND/ticket
  • Children (under 1.2m): 50,000 VND/ticket
  • Opening hours: from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily
  • On Friday and Saturday evenings, the garden is open until 10:00 PM, allowing visitors to enjoy the flower garden at night without an additional ticket price.
